Welcome in review

( revised 11/15/06)

Blogger’s Welcome:

Thanks for visiting this brand new site. Welcome to the blog for Live Better For You, and our flagship business: WAIORA. Home base is Tulsa, Oklahoma and our vision is to positively impact people and their health, ALL OVER THE WORLD.

We hope you find this blog informative, thought-provoking and, with general discussions about almost anything and everything: FUN

Here goes:

1. Think of business success and growth for a moment. NOW, think of your own home business.

When you hear about a company that has experienced 1300% growth in the last 13 months, you should automatically think: “Here is a company that is having tremendous success and growth”. You would be absolutely correct, and you WOULD NOT be dreaming. THAT company is Waiora, and YOUR opportunity to be a part of such growth is NOW. Add proven leadership, debt-free and profitable status to that, and you have unlimited potential. See: www.Livebetterforyou.com for more information. NOTE: 'Livebetterforyou' is still under construction, bear with us.

2. What is being viewed by some in the nutrition world as ‘a revolution on Life
Science?’ Answer: From Newstarget.com: "Epigenetic factors" such as diet and chemical toxins are now being understood as the controlling factors of genetic expression. This means DNA is not the master plan for health. It also means that genes don't automatically manifest disease (except in rare cases) and that we can control our health outcomes through nutrition and avoidance of chemical pollutants. Blogger’s note: I really like Newstarget.com. If you are interested in nutrition, visit it.

3. I love sports, PERIOD. Doesn’t much matter what kind, I’m in and will watch
more or less anything, …SO, my beginning question is: “ Is it just me, or is
the officiating in Collegiate football just really awful this year?” Look at the recent loss OU had from Oregon. I mean, I am not an OU fan, even being an Okie, but I do think ‘they was robbed!!’

If you are like me and not a real OU fan, look at the other really stinking calls teams have gotten this year. It’s almost an epidemic, I think, BUT being female, I could just be too emotional?? BTW: There are some of us ladies who truly LOVE sports. Really. I can tell you who won the first Heisman trophy. I also remember when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was Lew Alcindor.

4. I love old movies. Give me a classic movie on digital cable and I am a happy woman.
‘On the waterfront’ is going to be on our digital cable ‘Encore’ channels in
December. If you can find it, wherever you are, on digital cable or otherwise, watch it. Marlon Brando is outstanding. This is when he is young and not quite as ‘fruity’?? Maybe he was just always misunderstood.
Anyway, great movie where someone does the right thing and takes a stand against corruption. It makes me think of why I believe in Waiora. Bear with me now, I’ll bring it together: I think that there is some corruption of truth when we talk about nutrition and health. Being a health professional, I am torn at times, because I think we focus on Illness way too much and not enough on prevention and wellness. Maybe it’s just me, but I think people ought to be given the opportunity to use proven Natural products to treat or prevent further diseases and conditions.
Case in point:
Why prescribe a ‘statin’ that is proven to stress the liver and potentially
cause bad side effects, when you could control cholesterol as well with fiber, fish oil, and plant sterols? The research is out there, folks. The American College of Cardiology recommends diet and nutrition therapies as ‘first line’ for lowering cholesterol. For those of you who might be on a ‘statin’, let me ask you:
When you saw your doctor and he told you that you had to get your cholesterol lowered, did he tell you about any natural products that work to do this? He may have talked about diet, but did he tell you what I just mentioned about fiber, fish oil and plant sterols? Please know that this is not a diatribe against doctors,
but it is making a point: The medical community needs to stop relying on pharmaceutical companies so much and more on the research out there proving the worth of many natural products. Waiora is a company with proven products that lower cholesterol, along with many other benefits.
**Just wonderin’ if the medical community ‘en masse’ will ever ‘get it’.

5. This may bug you,… but then again, maybe not.
